This Silk Scarf has been naturally dyed with madder roots and Eco Printed with Eucalyptus, Guava leaves and Onion skins giving it a nice dusky blush, green and black tone to the fabric. It is a great choice for a nature-oriented person, who can wear it for any occasion.
Madder comes from the roots of the Rubia cordifolia L. plant. It has been used since ancient times as a vegetable red dye for leather, wool, cotton and silk.
1. The handmade nature of this product means that it is entirely unique and one-of-a-kind. Minor imperfections and subtle changes in size, color, texture are intrinsic to handmade products.
2. Organic Dry Clean or Cold Hand Wash with low PH detergent to protect its delicacy.
3. As it is one of a kind, no two products/colors of the products will be the same.
After washing your Eco-printed clothing, take the time to dry it in the shade or turn it inside out. Bring it in as soon as you can and store it in a dark place until you're ready to wear it again.
UV rays in sunlight might fade dyed fabric over time, but there's nothing to worry about! If a piece of your Eco-printed clothing starts fading, just give it another dyeing treatment—and watch as it goes from faded to gorgeous!
Once they become faded, clothes that have previously been Eco-printed also tend to re-dye well. Just be sure not to wash them with any other fabrics that will ruin the effect.
